We wish to inform our clients that the Embassy of Hungary in Baghdad does not accept or process consular matters in any form.
For short-term travel—specifically, a planned stay not exceeding 90 days within a 180-day period—you are eligible to apply for a Type C visa, which can be submitted at the VFS Global offices in Baghdad or Erbil.
If you plan to spend more than 90 days in Hungary, you must apply for a Type D visa. Applications for a Type D visa for the purpose of family reunification may also be submitted through VFS Global offices. However, if you intend to stay in Hungary long-term for other purposes, you must submit your application to the Consulate General of Hungary in Erbil.
